Hannah Westbrook-Bryan in Mind t-shirt for charity walk 60 miles in september

This September I set myself a challenge, to walk 120 miles for Mind, the incredible charity supporting mental health. It’s not just about the miles on my feet, though. It’s about the space those miles give my mind.

Walking has always been my way to reset. Fresh air, moving my body, and time away from the screen clears my head in a way nothing else does. Last Saturday I shared this with my Facebook community, going live during a sunny stroll along the Devon lanes. It felt so good to talk about how walking helps me find calm and focus something I encourage my clients and friends to do too.

But that evening, at 22:53pm, something unexpected happened. After 18 years of having a personal account and 5 years of building my business presence, Facebook disabled my account. My appeal was denied. Just like that, my entire history connections, conversations, memories had disappeared.

It was a real blow. Social media has been such a big part of my personal and business life, and to lose it overnight was tough. But just like with walking, when the path takes an unexpected turn, you keep moving forward.

So, my journey continues here and now more than ever, on Instagram. I’ll be sharing my miles, my reflections, and my progress as I walk for Mind. Every step is for a cause that means so much to me, and I’d love for you to join me: whether that’s by following my updates, sending encouragement, or donating through my JustGiving Link.

These walks aren’t just about raising money. They’re about showing the power of taking time out for ourselves. Mental health matters, and even a simple walk in the sunshine or rain can make a huge difference.

Thank you for being here with me as I continue this journey on the lanes of Devon, on Instagram, and beyond. 💙
